LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Tekonsha® Engineering Company (the "COMPANY") warrants to the original purchaser of a Prodigy™ electronic trailer brake control that the Prodigy will be free from defects in materials and manufacture for as long as you own it, subject to the exclusions set forth below.

The COMPANY will repair or replace free of charge, during the warranty period, any part that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service. The COMPANY reserves the right to inspect products prior to warranty repair or replacement. This warranty is limited to defective parts or workmanship and does not extend to any product or parts which have been lost or discarded by you or to units which have been altered or modified without authorization. Any damage to this electronic trailer brake control as a result of normal wear, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or any use in violation of instructions furnished by us, will void the warranty. Cosmetic damage to the electronic brake control and/or lens incurred during normal use, installation, repair or replacement is excluded. The cost of removal, the cost of forwarding of the product, the cost of return, the cost of reinstallation, labor charges and/or damage incurred during installation, repair or replacement as well as incidental and consequential damages connected therewith are excluded.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must accompany all warranty claims. If your original receipt is used to obtain a promotional rebate of the product, a copy of the receipt along with a copy of the rebate form must be submitted when requesting warranty service.

The COMPANY reserves the right to change or improve the design or manufacture of electric trailer brake controls without obligation to modify any brake control previously manufactured.

THE COMPANY MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT. THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM THE SALE OR USE OF THE PRODUCT.
