What are your shipping rates and costs?

We offer several shipping methods and actual charges apply.
C.O.D. Charges are $9.99 per box.
Oversize and Overweight orders are shipped according to notice of additional shipping added.


What is the standard method for shipping?
We offer several methods of shipping on parts deliverable by ground service (excluding tires and orders that are Oversize / Overweight limit) to the 48 contiguous states. Foreign orders are subject to a single handling fee of $9.95 plus actual cost of shipping. We ship in-stock parts the same day we get your order as long as the order is completed by 1:00 p.m. CST Monday through Friday. Parts not deliverable by ground service are noted as such in the catalog and on the Internet.There is an additional $20.00 charge for hazardous materials shipped by Ground; these items are noted. Hazardous materials cannot be shipped by air.

How do you handle APO or FPO orders?
All APO and FPO orders must be shipped via post office and unfortunately we are not able to send Truck Freight items or Hazardous Materials to APO or FPO addresses at this time. APO and FPO orders must also be pre-paid by sending us a check or money order or by using a credit card. Actual shipping rates apply.

If I place an order and the parts are on backorder,
when will you charge my credit card?

Most in-stock items on an order are shipped immediately. Most backordered parts are shipped as they become available.

Charges:
Canadian, overseas/APO/FPO customers will be charged for the entire order immediately - including backorders temporarily unavailable for shipping.
Customers in the 50 states and all U.S. territories will be charged for in-stock parts when they are ordered. The total dollar amount for backordered items, tax, and any applicable fees, will not be charged to your credit card until they are shipped.

Shipping:
Alaska, Hawaii and overseas orders are shipped UPS Air unless you select another option. Shipping charges will be charged to your credit card unless your order is shipped by a commercial carrier.
Canadian, overseas/APO/FPO orders that include backordered items will not be shipped until all items are available to ship.

Truck Freight Items:
Truck Freight applies to all items too large for UPS or the Post Office. Truck Freight items are noted by a special Truck Freight icon in both our catalog and on the web site. These items are assessed extra shipping charges due to their size.


What is 2nd day air?

2nd Day Air Service delivers parts within two working days (Monday through Friday). If you live outside the continental US, including metro Alaska, metro Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, standard rates apply. Visit www.ups.com to determine the estimated transit time for your ground-shipped package. Most orders placed before 1:00 PM CST (Monday through Friday) will ship the same day, although it may take 2 to 3 working days to complete and ship your order.

What is Next Day Air Shipping?
Next Day Air guarantees an in-stock part ordered by 1:00 p.m. CST will be delivered the following business day in most areas of the continental U.S. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays will be shipped from our warehouse on the following business day.
If you live outside the continental US, including metro Alaska, metro Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, standard rates apply. UPS Saturday Delivery is available in most ZIP codes for $6.95 plus actual shipping charge.

How do you handle shipping orders to Canada?
Orders being shipped to Canada are assessed a $6.95 handling fee no matter how big or small the order may be. Orders must be prepaid by check, money order, or credit card and actual shipping rates apply, based on the weight and the size of the package. The customer can choose from the following shipping methods: UPS Ground, UPS Expedited, UPS Express, Postal Priority Mail, or Express Mail. We do not offer the Second Day Air or the Next Day Air Flat Fee at this time, even if the order will be shipped to an address in the continental U.S. We are also unable to ship Hazardous Materials to Canada.
Orders will be placed on a "Full Order Hold" until all items on the order are available unless the customer requests otherwise. This means that if one item is on backorder, the rest of the order will be held in our warehouse until the backordered item arrives and the order can ship out together. We do this to save the customer separate shipping charges, but we can ship all available parts if the customer so desires.
Invoice must reflect actual product prices for parts shipped.

How much is shipping to Canada and how long will it take?
Due to the wide variety of shipping options, weights, and sizes of packages, we can not give an average or expected cost on Canadian orders. We can tell you that all Canadian orders are charged a $6.95 handling fee regardless of size or weight and actual carrier's shipping rates apply. Canadian customers are responsible for all taxes and duties as these are not included in the purchase price. We can ship UPS or Postal at your request. Options for shipping are UPS Ground, UPS Expedited, UPS Express, Postal Priority Mail, or Express Mail. To get an idea of transit times and charges you can log onto www.ups.com or www.usps.com. See their "Cost Calculators" link to get quotes on transit times and rates by using our zip code 65453 and filling out the on screen form. Remember, these are just estimates and shipping times may be slightly longer due to heightened security.

How do you process international customs and shipping?

Canadian orders are subject to a $6.95 handling fee per order plus shipping costs . We can ship UPS or postal . This is your choice . Any duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are not included in our shipping costs and is the customers responsibility upon delivery.

All items entering a foreign country are subject to customs inspection and the assessment of duties and taxes in accordance with that country's national laws. Customs duties and taxes are assessed, generally, if the merchandise is dutiable and the value of the item is above the threshold set by the country's laws. If duties and taxes are assessed on an item mailed via the Postal Service, they are collected from the recipient. In addition, for most countries, there is an administrative fee that is collected from the recipient to cover the costs of clearing the item through customs and collecting duties and taxes. What is your policy on international or foreign shipping?

Foreign customer status is applied to anyone outside the U.S., Canada, or U.S. Territories. Since our toll free phone number does not apply to foreign countries, you can place your orders online, fax them to us at (573)885-6456, or call us directly at 573-885-9106. If we have your e-mail address on file, an order confirmation will be sent to you via E-mail after the order is placed. All Foreign orders ship from our Missouri location only. Product availability is determined by the inventory in the Missouri location.

Foreign, or international, shipments are assessed a $9.95 handling fee per order regardless of size unless the order has a domestic shipping destination in which case the handling fee will be $6.95. All orders must be pre-paid and actual shipping rates will be charged. Most foreign orders default to UPS Air if you do not select another method. Depending upon your location and size of the order, different shipping methods are available. Ask your salesperson for available options or fax/email us a shipping quote request with all your parts and shipping address for an estimate. Foreign customers should also be aware that if several items are ordered and one is on backorder, the whole order will be placed on a "Full Order Hold" until the backordered item arrives. We do this in order to save the customer two separate shipping charges. If you wish to have the available items shipped and are willing to pay the separate charges, simply specify at the time you place your order and we can accommodate your request. Hazardous materials can not be shipped to foreign customers at this time.

What is Truck Freight?

Truck Freight applies to all items too large for UPS, Fed-Ex, or the Post Office. Truck Freight items are noted by a special Truck Freight icon in both our catalog and on the web site. These items are assessed extra shipping charges due to their size.

Most Truck Freight items have a standardized shipment rate, one rate to the terminal, another to your door.

If your order includes more than one Truck Freight item, the items may be shipped from multiple sites, resulting in multiple shipping charges. Actual shipping charges are determined when the items are shipped and could be greater than the minimum estimated amount. Unless all items are on back order, the minimum estimated shipping charge will be billed at the time the order is placed and displayed on your order acknowledgement. If there are any additional fees above the amount shown on your order acknowledgement, a Customer Service representative will contact you prior to shipping.

Some Truck Freight items have special shipping requirements/charges. If you choose to have the item shipped to your home, you are responsible for unloading the item from the carrier's truck. Lift gate service will incur additional charges which are not covered by RJay's flat fee.

Usually, the shipping carrier will call the phone number we have on file to arrange the delivery day and time. You must be present to receive and sign for the shipment. DO NOT sign for any package that shows damage to the outside carton. Have the driver note the damage on the bill of lading, do not sign it, and refuse it. Transit times vary for truck shipments due to dispatching and scheduling. After the order has shipped, you can call us at 1-866-439-7529 to obtain the Pro# for the shipment. This will allow you to track the order online on the carrier's website.

Could you tell me the freight costs of sending parts to Auckland, New Zealand. Is it based on weight or volume or just a flat rate? Do you send parts to New Zealand by Air-freight or Sea-freight?

Also what methods of payment do you accept?

All shipping costs to overseas customers are calculated by weight . RJay's Performance Center ships by a variety of shipping methods including U.S.Mail and UPS. All orders can be quoted approximate shipping costs before the order ships by request . There is also a $9.95 overseas handling charge per order in addition to any shipping charges . We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, and American Express .


How does Air Freight shipping work?

Air Freight shipping is similar to truck freight in that it is reserved for oversized items and larger volume orders. Orders are shipped to the nearest international airport where the customer is responsible for paying all duty, tax, brokerage, etc. Call for more information on Air Freight orders.

How do I return an item?

We have a 15 day return policy on NEW AND UNUSED PARTS. All returns beyond 15 days are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Parts must be returned in their original box or boxes and must be in 100% resaleable condition. Special Order parts are non-returnable.

Simply place a copy of the original invoice the in the box with the part(s) to be returned. Give a short explanation for the return.

All returns must be sent prepaid - no collect shipments will be accepted. Insure the returned part for its full value to protect yourself against loss.

We strongly suggest that you ship the package by United Parcel Ground Service (UPS) as it is traceable.
