Emergency Brake Cables

Universal Emergency Brake Cables Kit is designed for use with Lokar's Floor Mount Emergency Hand Brake, and in conjunction with Lokar's Connector Cables. Kit comes equipped with quality one-piece aluminum adjusters and aluminum ferrule to eliminate fraying of stainless housing. Outer housing is Teflon-lined for smooth operation and stainless inner cable resists moisture. Design allows rear end backing plates to be removed without removing brake cables. Lokar Cables also feature adjustable cable lock and clevis. Kit is complete with cable bracket and spacers. Kit includes two 8' outer housings that 'U-Cut-To-Fit' and are available in stainless or black housing. Application fits 8" and 9" Ford, Chevy, Chrysler and Lincoln Versailles drum and disc brakes. 1942 to 1954 Chevy Truck Rear Brake Cable Kits Brake cable kits for 1942 to 1954 Chevy Trucks. Cables mount from backing plates on rear end to original cross shaft of chassis. Designed with specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable. Stainless inner cable resists moisture. Kit includes two 4' outer housings that "U-Cut-to-Fit" and are available in stainless housing or black housing. EC8004U Shown Design allows rear end backing plate fittings to be removed without removing brake cables. Lokar cables also feature two adjustable cable locks and clevis. Application fits 8" and 9" Ford, Chevy, Chrysler and Lincoln Versailles frum and disc brakes. Also fits 1987 and earlier Corvette and Wilwood disc brakes when using Wilwood Clevis Kit (Sold Seperately).

EC80TU Shown EC80THT Shown Transmount Emergency Hand Brake Chrome Steel Transmount Emergency Hand Brake is chromed steel and designed after the automotive industry standard. Ratchet cut gear plate and lock are heat treated for strength and safety. The geometrical design of the lever allows for comfortable leverage operation. Levers are available in 11" and 16" lengths to compliment Lokar's Automatic Transmission Shifter. Handle Only. E-Brake Handle/Cable Bracket pictured above not included. The Original Lokar Automatic Transmission Shifter has a bolt-on location for this handle and bracket combo.
