The
windshield's highly polished 304 stainless steel frame is slightly curved
to match the subtle radius of the '32's body. Due to the angle air is
pushed up and over the windshield. This blending of function and form
gives new aesthetics to a traditional design, the aerodynamics allowing
travel at highway speeds with minimal wind buffeting to the driver and
passenger.
Had the technology to manufacture curved safety glass been available
back in 1932, Deuces might well have been designed with slightly curved
windshields to better match the overall design of the rest of the car. |
